Please advise me on what to do, when you join an Organisation and before you are confirmed, your employer decided to fire you without the payment of one month in ‘in-lieu of notice’ despite the fact that, it is stated on your letter of appointment, fired, just for asking for your Salary on the 19th of the following month, but with only the salary up till date paid based on pro-rata. (Payment in-lieu of notice excluded)
How can an employee or a job seeker be safeguarded against his employer who promised him heaven and earth during an interview, that makes him leave his previous secured job to take up an offer only to be fired over a frivolous reason or circumstance thereby throwing him into labour market for a reason that may be unjustifiable? Or does it mean, a Job seeker could be lured into leaving his job without any security protecting him against this form of injustice? Please advice on how he can claim his compensation to safeguard his economic wellbeing, and as a deterrent to such employers who are fond of this acts of selfishness.

Rule of thumb: be it corporate or business world, when its too good to be true then it probably aint true. No correct employer would coerce/woo/patronise an applicant with "sweet promises". Even if the job comes with a lot of goodies/freebies, you'll "earn" it, it won't be used as a bait to get you on board.

Back to your question, is this company a 1 man show or a corporate established company?

I think such cases should be addressed by labour congress.

It is a 1 man business with a staff strength of 5,not sufficient to form a staff union.

What can you do?next to nothing oh. Why did he sack you?was the company raking in profit or loss?

Seems you got carried away by the sweet promises.such jobs are ideally for fresh graduates and desperately unemployed. If you must quit a secured job for a one man biz next time, make sure you have enough savings to fall back on and you are atleast a partner not employer.

Count your losses and move on, IMO.
