No der's no confusion. In Igbo it is called Akpunmiri. Abacha is african salad(sliced cassava missed with ingridients) not tapioca(bigger slice cassava without anything)

In ikwerre(rivers state) it is called IJAPUN and AKUMEKE(tapioca and coconut)

They cut so silm, dry them sometimes and prepare them like
African sallad. We put dry meat, kpumor or kanda wif gardern egg
And uterzi(don't knw d english name) in abacha and wash it down
Wif palm wine. Very nutritious.
