In my house I have about 500 Audio CDs and over 1,300 Books (All Original).

I noticed that while my books worth 100 times the price of the Compact disc, People pay more interest in "borrowing" or "fapping" them more than even the Best of the life changing books.

God bless the soul of that woman who said "if you want to hide anything from a Black man, put it in a book". She is damn so correct.

El-Rufai !!! You and your cohort are the Author of the youth misfortune.

What legacy have the NIGERIAN leaders left for the youth to follow other than Stealing public fund, ruin Public schools and send their children to overseas to study at the best schools

The British have laid a foundation but our leaders refuse or should I say confuse and don't know how to go about things.

Nigerian leader should realise they have an obligation towards their citizens rather blaming them .....FOOL'S & HORSES.

Or is he referring to the NORTHERN YOUTH?

Though there is an element of truth in his assertions , el rufai is no saint , in a sane society , by now he shld be behind bars, He was a part of the dreaded ObJ govt where he allocated plots of lands to cronies and contemporaries, he still has a case with the EFCC. They insult GEJ on twitter, including Femi fani kayode , Dino melaye , there is one called ogundamisi who called himself a critic by calling the president of Nigeria an 'idiot' isnt that embarasing?? They benefit fromthe gullibility of so called youths who dont read anymore with their large pool of followers. Elrufai can't stand criticism , he'll block u immediately but he and his team can rain curses on GEJ. Its a pity i cant have them as role models .

El-Rufai is not far from the absolute truth.

Serendipity: Granted, there are vestiges of truth in what he said. It's just that the man's image has been somewhat sullied and besmirched

there is no truth in anything.
The only people that can make this statement and be accepted as truth, are people that had contributed to Nigeria Educational development, which we do not have any thin date.
In what way did the learders (rulers) in Nigeria have encourage the youth to read?
We have many graduate, but no work.
You read to be an accountant, but when you went for an interview in Bank a diplomal certificate earner in Agriculture would be favoured due to his connection. How would some youths be encourage to read?

Well, don't go judging because you don't wanna know what projects I have out there in the outer world that millions of people are benefitting from. All thanks to READING.

By the way, if you read, you don't have to feel affected by this his statement.

El-Rufai isn't lying on this one even though he is a frealing lier by nature.

Prof Corruption: El-Rufai is not far from the absolute truth.

That statement is 100% true.
When these foo*ls cry out loud they assume he is talking of School books and exam kind of reading that's why the bunch of sorry a55 are all ranting and spitting all over.

For those blaming the system, that's just a silly excuse, the Likes of Ghandi, Malcome X, Martin Luther King, Mandela, and others became great from the worst of environment, system and racial abuses so what are these ones still crying about.

This is the most stewpid post of all. You are so daft to even think that it is until one siphons public fund before one can afford to send one's ward(s) to a UK university. You could not even respect the late daughter by leaving her out of whatever trash U have to say. Not only are you uncultured but Heartless as well.

Why are people insulting El-Rufai for saying the truth? Even though me and the mumu no dey gree for twitter (I go soon block am sef). But he is saying the whole truth.

I encouraged some used 2years back to feel free to come over during weekends to come turn by crib into a "library club", omo, them no gree oh! Instead it was always "brother Acidtalk, please borrow me your Jay Z cd. Or Bros, do you have have the latest Cold Play album?".

You dont even need to waste your time... the response to this so far is crystal clear... No wonder they say truth is bitter.

El-rufai shouldn't be the person making this statement,

If it were to be a soyinka or an Achebe it would have been a different thing entirely not a crook coming to tell the hard working youths how to go about surviving in the country that he's looted and left dry.

El Rufai likes talking too much. He should realise that as a leader he is or claimed to be, that the youths are jst following their foot steps. They stole every kobo meant for youths educational development. They taught the youths about get-rich quick syndrome. So why is he blaming the youths whom they the leaders never taught any good virtue?

El-Rufai talking of reading is not emphasizing on your school books.

He is talking of Reading History, Finance, Management, Culture, Biography,Motivational, Inspirational and fictional books.

The bunch of people crying on this statement want to blame El-rufai for writing Jamb 12 times and WAEC 30times.

Donal Trump, Warren Buffet, Kiyosaki, Brian Tracy, Aliko Dangote and thousands of men out there didn't pass through the four walls of school but rather learnt by reading life changing books to better themselves.

They didn't hand by the road side every morning at the vendors stand only to be reading word for word Complete Sport just to gather knowledge to go and argue with their friends on which player earns the most and which coach is about to be sacked.
