Oma se (meaning "What a pity")... is when after getting married as a lady, your mother still cook for you and your husband, simply cos you dont know how to cook. while girls your mate were learning how to cook and do other things in their parents house, you were busy painting your nails and learning how to look good. But for how long will your mom or aunty cover up for you. and I guess If your mum/aunty or other persons aren't there to cook for you, you wont mind to be feeding your husband with fast food/junk (i.e if he's the type that eats anything)...you better go and learn how to cook and be a real woman before its too late. dont be a spoilt brat forever!

What a pity? Its lame. Well, personally if I have someone like that and I love her very much, I will not want the world to know she doesn't know how to cook. In as much as she is humble and ready to learn, I will send her to my mum to learn how to cook rather than have have my mum or any other person cook for the family cos its certain that sometime later, those people will not be there to cover up for her nymore, she will have to face her fate. That's the more reason I will send her to be with my mum for sometime or rather have my mum teach her in my house just for the sake of covering up her shortcoming, not letting the world know of her deficiency...
