When someone says, i need someone that will love me for who I am not what I am. Does it mean that he/she needed someone to see who or she really is or what? Am very curious to know pls.

It means love the person for who he is . . . . like sey, arm robber, poor, dumb, tribal difference, religious difference, talkative n a lot more. . . but don't fall in love with the person cus of what he/she has. e.g: riches, status in society, big time job, popularity etc. Abi u get

see love me for who im am simple means look beyond what is outside and dig deep inside of me, Love me for me heart, my soul, my boy, the being i am, the person that make up me not flashy cars, posh crib, and fancy cloths(if any).

Love Me For Who I Am Not What I Am to me just mean love me in any circumstances you may found me either good or bad even if I offend you you just have to forgive me and bear it with me coz you just have to love someone just because you love him/her and you cant leave him/her.

It means 'don't love me for my pocket' for a guy

Or 'for my looks' for a lady.

'Love the person irrespective of pocket, looks, job or family background' but is that often possible?
