Could that be music resounding behind the mountains?
The melody drifting in a soulless tune I can’t ascertain
Could that be drumbeats playing fervently on the tree tops
Swaying the trees from side to side like fragile crops
Could that be cymbals sounding in the deepest oceans
Raising the waves aloft and splattering in cushion
Could that be bells jingling within the rocks
Tinkling away like a herd of cattle flock
Could that be blast of trumpet sounds
Emitting from the dog in every barking round
United in melody the voices titrates
Free of pains, filled with love, devoid of hate


There lies a pathway in the world unknown
In the deepest forest of the heart of men unsown
Straight like the measuring rule
But every step of the way is an obstacle
Is that the path the Greatest of them all has taken
Bearing on him the greatest of weight and beaten
Puffing and struggling with each step
Cheered by some while others stood and wept
As he climbed up and walked through that pathway keenly
Eyes raised and shoulders bruised as He changed destiny
For by him a pathway was created with all craftiness
The same pathway that leads to greatness

There lies the pathway to greatness
Forged with blood so that you and I can harness
There lies the path we all must take
Even if our lives we have to put at stake
There lies the path to our redemption
Struggle we must through life’s temptation
There lies the path that was freely given
That our atrocities will be forever forgiven
There lies the path spoken of by great men
That we must take at that very moment
Surely that pathway beckons to us all
It we must take for therein lays our call
Surely, our greatness lies in the pathway to greatness
