Like people have rightly said, it is to shame/embarass them. Doing so will also deter others (though not everyone) to commit crimes. If you don't give a second thought to stealing my iPhone 5, why should I give a second thought to stripping you unclad? On a lighter note, it is to draw traffic to our various blogs. |
