I am getting married soon and would not want to get pregnant until at least 6 months into the marriage.

Contraceptives are definitely the best way to go, I would suggest birth control pills but they certainly do have side

effects.

personally,i use the iud (coil). it's really effective and has no side effects.I used it after my first baby,and spaced for 5yrs and 5mths. I took in a month after taking it off. BUT,in your case,you have not had babies,so the best bet would be the pill. you can add on some weight,black heads, your period may suprise you too. . but since you have not had kids,it's the best choice. another inconvenience is that you have to remember to take it almost same time everyday.

there is the iud with hormones and the one without.the one without hormones is better.it's called copper T.

There's this new one, (in da states, i think it might be Rx), it was on a commercial. it can prevent pregnancy for up to 5 YEARS! it's also removable so u u can get pregnant early within those years if u choose. it looks like a white little flexible plastic. don't know much about it tho, i only saw da ad like once.

I'm a man my woman don't take any drugs to prevent pregnancy I did it naturally.
Tell your man to learn how to control himself from comming inside you.
most of the medicine may have after effect but this you enjoy your sex and protect yourself.
Whenever he is reaching orgasm he should come out you and don't go in until he clean himself properly for another action.

There is a birth control pill called micro lite that has much less side effects ie you don't put on weight etc its very good. Quite a lot of these other pills make some women gain weight.

I just read a reasearch actually that the pills of nowdays dont make women gain weight like before. The pills of past years had alot of esrogen hence the increase in appetite and watere gain
