Romney is terrible at campaigning. Obama is an excellent speaker and had an amazing grassroots campaign, although not as strong as 2008. Go back in time to Romney vs Santorum in Iowa. Santorum had no money. He literally campaigned in all of Iowa in a few short weeks on his own two feet. He did it the old-fashioned way and beat Romney, who super-over-outspent him. Rather than for Romney to cue in and do his own grassroots, he rallied on his fellow 1%ers and continually distanced himself from middle class America. Mark my words, this is the last time you will see a republican nominee really on the white vote. Whites are no longer the minority. They have a short amount of time discuss new strategies for the future. They'll have to open up to the same people Romney avoided. Best of luck to them... not. |
