JOB TITLE: QA/QC WELDING ENGINEER

A reputable Oil & Gas Company based in Lekki, Lagos requires the services of a QA/QC Welding Engineer.

JOB TYPE: CONTRACT

JOB ROLES:
* Develop welding standards and procedures
*Carry out pre-qualification of welders
*Ensure that quality welds are done on site
*Carry out visual and radiographic inspection of weld joints.

REQUIREMENTS:
*Minimum of a first degree in Engineering from a reputable tertiary institution.
*Minimum of 3 years demonstrable practical experience in pipeline QA/QC welding work
* Must demonstrate ability to interpret radiographic films of weld joints.
*Experience in welder pre-qualification.
