Nowadays it seems to be the trend for artistes after basking in the fame and fortune accrued from stardom in their record labels to gain independence and set up their own label, this sometimes may be seen as an act of rebellion by their bosses (record label execs). Don Jazzy may be having a taste of this rebellion pretty soon as news has emerged of plans by Mavin records artiste Wande Coal to float his own record label “Black Diamond”.

Don Jazzy who is currently away in south Africa with another Mavin Records artiste Tiwa Savage for the shoot of the “without my heart” video declined commenting on the matter when asked about it. If these reports are true, the Mavin boss may be losing yet another superstar artiste in a space of months after parting ways with D’banj earlier this year.
