At the Second Lecture organized by the Save Nigeria Group [SNG], after Prof. Pius Adesanmi presented an endowed tortoise fable literary paper to accuse Nigerian rulers of plagiarizing the tortoise in his cunning self-property, titled "Reparation: What Nigeria Owes the tortoise", the Women Arise group led by Dr. Joe-Okei Odumakin opened a surprise birthday celebration for Pastor Tunde Bakare.

The 'Comrade Pastor' was not informed of the arrangement, but the event agenda contained 'special songs by the Women Arise'. But when it was time for the Women Arise's rendition, a cake was revealed and placed in his front.

"We say congratulations to the Human Rights advocate Hero of our generation", Dr. Okei-Odumakin announced to everyone's surprise.

A day earlier, the Church had done similar surprise birthday Celebration for him without his awareness.

Pastor Bakare clocked 58 November 2012, but his nature is said to be weary of ceremony fluffs. He had not formally organized a birthday ceremony for himself in eight years. The last birthday ceremony he marked was his golden year celebration when he clocked 50.
