Confusion in my church by Jamesmelbin(m): 11:16am On Nov 14, 2012
In my church
everyman always come with his family on Sundays,
Usually in “Like Attires”
but Our Pastor is different
He had no wife, no children, nothing
Not because he didn’t want to
But because he have not yet found his “bone of my bone”

The wisdom filled elders used to meet frequently
to discuss various issues to help the church grow
Now, the latest topic is that of our unmarried pastor
It has been their conclusion to go and ask Why from our pastor
They've went to him two times now
but our pastor will always give them that one reply
“It’s not my joy to stay single,
but I have not yet seen the “bone of my bone”

The elders would hiss to him behind his back
Hating him
Calling him names like ‘adulterer’, ‘fornicator’..
Planning to leave the church for him, all at a time

Infact, like he had been frightened by this last threat
Our pastor one day announced
That his “God given bone of his bone” has been revealed to him
The elders mumbled in satisfaction
Expecting our pastor to announce who the lucky woman is
But he kept the situation a suspense
our pastor didn’t reveal it so soon

But after a lot of protests and disturbances
Our pastor decided to announce it
All eyes and ears are on him
Ready to be a witness of the great declaration
“My God has shown me in my dream who the “bone of my bone” is…
The woman God shows me is (breaks) Sister Kate”

In Our church that day
Our pastor couldn’t even check the daze
The whole lot of people
Who have been waiting for a pin to come
closer to their balloon, quickly burst themselves

“Sister Kate? That wore?” Mr. Ibrus asked
“Sister Kate? That prostitute?” Mrs. Jalingo commented
“Sister Kate? That useless girl?” Madam Jami added
“Is it not that same sister kate I used to meet at Royal Joint hotel?” Mr. Kabru bursted

In our church that day
No one was ready to listen to what our pleading and confused pastor wants to explain.
But, If only they were attentive,
They would have noticed it
They would have noticed that our Pastor didn’t even mention Sister Kate
It was Sister Faith he mentioned
But then, if they have heard it was Sister Faith he mentioned
The whole church would have wished the whole lot of Heaven
Could descend on him and destroy him – the sinner pastor

It is better they didn’t here him mention Sister Faith – ‘the beautiful devil’
Every member of the church know of her demonic characters
No man dare comes close to her
Or he would be lured to dine with her on the table of sin
And sleep with her on the bed of fornication

Why will God choose any of this kind of people for our pastor?
Sister Kate? Sister Faith?
the two bad figures in our church
Or did our pastor already have a feeling for them
And thus wanted to lie to us that he's doing as the spirit leads?
