Rule out church wedding! Court wedding or engagement would do!

So what do you want to do? Abort your own kid because you want to wear white for a day? Just buy a bigger gown and go for the wedding. Shit happens.

biolachick: Hello people,

So I’m supposed to be getting married in Nigeria soon and I just found out that I am pregnant. Do they still join pregnant lady and the man in churches nowadays or what is your take on registry wedding, then church blessing the following Sunday like a thanksgiving? Do we still have plenty of people getting wedded while pregnant nowadays?
Why not...are you not a human being...christ said...he that has no sin let him cast the first stone.

Any church that refuses to wed you and your husband simply because you're pregnant, shouldn't be categorized as a church...they should be regarded as hypocrites cos they aren't holier that you.

The church is meant to accommodate and not to judge and drive people away.

Cheer up, cos I'm sure that you would definitely do a church weeding.

Good luck.

I think it depends on the church in question. Most pentecostal churches and some orthodox churches like baptist won't wed you but can agree to marriage blessing. I think you should send someone maybe a relative or friend to find out for you and if its certain they won't conduct a normal wedding for you, then you can start preparing for a court wedding and marriage blessing. Note that court wedding is not automatic as you stilll need to file for it at least 21 days so you really need to start making those arrangements early before your bump starts showing. In all, guard your baby and don't ever consider abortion an option. All the best.
