It amazes me when people are invited for recruitment test and they come on nairaland asking people to help them. It speaks volumes. If I applied for any job opening that requires me taking a test, I would prepare in advance for the test irrespective the time-line for the test invite because no knowledge is lost.

Also, I have a dim view of people that act along this line because it simply shows that they are already used to this "hand me all the answers mentality" which is typical of most graduates.

First and foremost, simple logic connotes that most tests are conducted electronically these days except in some few instances, so the ideal is to master the intrigues of a computer based test like timing, structure of the questions etc.

Secondly, if you have applied for a specialist role, the employer is most likely to ask you questions based on your area of specialism and job application. There could also include questions on general management, politics etc just to ascertain if the potential conadiate is well rounded. It is amazing when people just rush online and ask as if they want the test question and answers to be handed to them in advance. The question is: why apply for the job in the first place if you know that you are not capable of handling the rigours of the recruitment process?

My Dear, don't mind him. It's basically jst a place to share ideas. He shld opt out if he isn't comfortable with it. For instance, I work in a bank & hv gone 4 several job tests n interviews with Multinationals & will NEVER hesitate to share ideas with people willing to come into my Organisation on what to expect. He shld opt out if he cannot deal with it n stop acting like an oversabi with over skill. Shikena!!!

It may b an on line test.............so u can do it anywhere once u have access to internet,use d code and password.....gud luck

We wrote the test today. The test was a skill test as I predicted. It was subdivided into three parts: theory, obj and essay writing (composition). Account numbers were collected for our tfare. As a sharp guy, I spoke to one of the HR guy about the next stage. He told us specifically to stay in Lagos as they will get back to us this weekend. In his words, the next and final stage will take place in two weeks time. It is going to be assessment centre and will take d whole day in Lagos. Candidates living outside Lagos will wait until the next day although there welfare will be taken care of. A total of 5000 took the test and only 200 people was shortlisted for this skill test.
