thegoodjoehunt: Football can be unfair but that's the beauty of the game, everyone gets his own share of luck. Football will always top basketball anyday no matter the advantage or disadvantage that arises in the course of the game. We don't need technology to come spoil the beautiful game. |

larride: I totally disagree with you here. The only reason football tops is because it is difficult to use your feet to control a ball than controlling with your hands. Apart from that Basketball clearly outclasses football. Do you know in Basketball, both teams play attacking football, there is no way to play defensive game. So fans witness steady attacking game. If you cross the half way line, you can't go back ie you must attack. Finally when you hold the ball, you have a particular amount of time to shoot. Why do you think most people love Barcelona, people love seeing beautiful attacking football. The rules of football abuses the beautiful game and FIFA is doing nothing to make football better or fairer. For instance replay technology will make luck not swing but make the better teams win but FIFA prefers fake red cards, balls that cross the lines not declared goals, fake Offside calls etc. |

thegoodjoehunt: What are you on bruv? Football is not all about attacks and counter-attacks. Can you compare the size of a football pitch to that of a basketball court? Do you how much energy players would need to attack full-on for ninety minutes? You are very funny talking about direct attacking football, and mentioning Barcelona... What are you on? Please stick to playing football on your playstation. 3 Likes |

jackbauersballs: The Basketball game is also very stressful. Why do you think they substitute players regularly. If you had played Basketball too, you will know a lot of energy is exerted. Barcelona plays in an attacking mode. If they can do it, other teams can but football rules can make an average team defend and win the champions League. In Basketball, it is different. The best team stays on top, like the reign of the Bulls, Lakers etc. If you watched Micheal Laudrup's (current Swansea FC Manager) Mallorca, when he coached them two seasons ago. They attacked and Pressed Barcelona. In that game both sides played Attacking football. There was also a game when Valencia played Barcelona two seasons ago that both parties attacked and also an Espanyol Barcelona game. These are not Playstation instances, if you haven't watched enough football except the EPL, you end up making the bold shallow statement. |

Albedo27: How come players in basketball are not targeting their enemies. In Basketball, you get fouled for soft touches. Violent play is totally reduced. Isn't that brilliant? |
Re: Arsenal Vs Tottenham Hotspur (5 - 2) On 17th November 2012 by thegoodjoehunt(m): 4:14pm On Nov 17, 2012 |
jackbauersballs: By the way I said the difference between Basketball and Football is that Basketball is about attacking. So what is your point with the bold statement. I was pointing out the brilliance of the rules of basketball. |
Re: Arsenal Vs Tottenham Hotspur (5 - 2) On 17th November 2012 by Nobody: 4:17pm On Nov 17, 2012 |
thegoodjoehunt: LMAO its obvious you know NOTHING about football... Again Football is not all about attack and counter attacking... If you want constant attacking football, please locate a nearby gamecentre and avail yourself... P.S. Barcelona do NOT play an attacking game...The hold the ball and pass around till they find an opening, and that is called Defending-by-Possesion. If you watch Barca Play, you would know they NEVER play DIRECT ATTACKING football. |

Re: Arsenal Vs Tottenham Hotspur (5 - 2) On 17th November 2012 by thegoodjoehunt(m): 4:24pm On Nov 17, 2012 |
jackbauersballs: You that knows it all about football, show me where I said Barcelona plays direct attacking football. I said Beautiful attacking football. You are just adding words to prove your point. By the way Guardiola isn't the first coach of Barcelona and he isn't my favorite coach of Barcelona. I preferred the Rijkaard's/Henk Ten Cate's Barcelona to the Guardiola's/Tito's Barcelona. I prefer the earlier because they were more direct. |

Donlittle: dude that is the beauty of soccer.it is not meant to be predictable. wat do u mean bball big team stays on top? lakers lost three of their opening match, bulls isnt on his feet, mavs lost to a small team yesterday, what are u on bout? Maybe I should clarify my point. The best team of the moment has a better chance of winning. The teams I talked about are teams that dominated in a particular era. The time Bulls reigned, they were almost untouchable. Same with Lakers etc. To beat the best team, you have to bring your A game but in football, all you have to do is park the bus. |

jackbauersballs: It is you that knows nothing about basketball. He is making comparism and pointing out ways to make soccer more interesting. By the way, basketball is more stressful because all the players are engaged both on offence and defence all the time ( I mean every seconds the game is on, unlike football ) You need to know basketball rules and play the game to understand what he is saying 1 Like |
