I'm so pissed right now ! I keep wondering if VFS didn't include my SOA to the application .. When I saw the email requesting for additional document, I thought the embassy wanted me to show proof of how I made the money in my account and I only sent documents and letters to that regards.. davodyguy: |

cantiride2: go to booking.com Check for hotels with options...free cancelation and no prepayment needed |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Milito: 5:33pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
gateleo: He will need a card for booking.com. Even if it's free cancellation and no prepayment. cantiride2: Check Radisson Hotels. It seems I once made a reservation without card. Not very sure though, it's been a long time. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by gateleo(m): 7:16pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
Milito: Yes he need a card, but his card wouldn't be charge. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by davodyguy: 7:20pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
gateleo:It's not about being charged. He's asking for book now pay later option, which he wants to do without a debit/credit card. In all honesty, I doubt if there's any site presently that would allow you to place a booking on hold, without requiring a card |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by Ajalalomo: 8:38pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
Please I need you guys to help me look into this. I am supposed to go to France in the last week of November, but I will not be able to because my employer recalled me from annual leave and paid me cash in lieu of the leave. I obtained a one-month Shengen (France) visa earlier this month, but it will expire on December 24, so I won't be able to travel or use it. While my visa is still valid, can I apply for a new visa for my proposed trip in March 2025, or should I wait until my current visa expires before I do so? One of my juniors asked me the above question, but I didn’t know how to answer the question correctly for him. |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by davodyguy: 8:50pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
Ajalalomo:Apply after expiration and must explain why you didn't use in a convincing way with evidence, otherwise you'll not be granted |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 9:11pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
In your own interest, if that visa is your first schengen visa, you had better go and spend like 5days and return. In your own interest. Goodluck Ajalalomo: |

hunee: This is his first visa |
Re: Securing Visa To France, Applying From Nigeria... by hunee: 9:55pm On Nov 24, 2024 |
Ajalalomo:He has to use that visa. I am not sure if those guys are here, but a few people got these visas in the past and didn't travel with it. Consequently, they have not been able to secure another Schengen visa after that. I hope he listens to the advise. I was checking expedia today for low fares and I saw Brussels airlines flies Paris for about 432usd on return , so check . But the said person has to travel via Cotonou if he wants a low cost rate as the lagos airport now is having very high traffic thus leading to increased ticket fares. I wish him luck. |

My advice ? Use that visa if that's your first . Even if you have to go for 3 days. Use it please . Ajalalomo: |
