What does it mean when a man says that women/girls "front too much"? I'm really not sure. Does the meaning vary by individual? Or is always the same?

Are the girls/women truly in love w/ you but playing hard to get or what? What's so wrong w/ being hard to get?

Really, I think the phrase is overused by men. Isn't it possible that a nice young lady just doesn't return your feelings? Isn't it possible she's trying not to lead you on?

Is the phrase "she fronts too much" really a stand in for "she wasn't that into me" or "she won't have sex with me"?
