In some areas the water has not rescinded. Their houses needs to be fumigated. Farm lands are still flooded. Most of them don't even have relief materials to take. Government was supposed to monitor the situation that is the flood victims homes. Do you the closure of the camps is too early ? Why is Government so in a hurry to terminate the camps? Has rehabilation taken place? What's your view

Nigerian Govt. Is one that plays politics in every situation, from facts its very obvious that they have not been supervising the IDPs on camps, top Govt functionaries go to this camps in the name of supervising the IDPs but rather go doing campeigns. Even @ camps NEMA was only part of Govt. That truely provided sufficient relief, the State especially in Kogi did nothing.

I don't know about the victims in other states but our great governor Pete Obi has been taking good care of the victims in Anambra area. He swung to action immiediatelly the storm touched Anambra and he has been voted the best governor at handling the disaster and the flood victims.

They r been sent home cos no more money can be made out of them. there was alot of sharp practices that went on where govt officials who are suppose to supervise d distribution of relief materials to d affected persons, cornered such materials and the money involved to themselves while giving the impression thro d media dat they r doin smthing. This is especially true in Rivers State and Bayelsa, if u doubt my story ask any flood victim in this state if govt sincerely came to their aid, In bayelsa the flood victims even protested the move to send back to their various home witout any kind arrangement on how they will b rehabilitated.
