Dual-sim Samsung Galaxy Note II Launches In China by LordReed(m): 11:24am On Nov 23, 2012 |
Samsung China has gone official with the previously leaked dual-SIM variant of the Note 2. The model number is GT-N7102 and from what it looks it's got proper GSM/HSDPA support on both SIM cards. The Note 2 N7102 is practically the same phone with a 1.6GHz quad-core processor and a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD screen, but it makes use of two SIM slots. One fits a regular sized miniSIM and the other one takes MicroSIM cards. The device will go on sale December 3 with a price of about 700 euro. Why can't Sammy launch such in the Nigerian market too? How long will it take them to figure dual, triple and quadruple SIM phones [price apart though] was what has given Chinese phones a big slice of the Nigerian market? |

ochukoccna: Why can't Sammy launch such in the Nigerian market too? Sammy knows that's why they've introduced lots of dual sim phones to the Naija phone market however this is the first really high end phone that I know that has dual sim. I hope they also launch is here because it will help solve the use use of multiple handsets in the high end sphere; just imagine having one sim for good data pricing and another for good call rates. |

Hi, The main difference between the single SIM version (N7100) and the dual SIM version (N7102) is that the single SIM version allows LTE networks (4G) which improves the speed to the internet in the phones. Other than that both models are almost the same thing! You can check a review of the dual SIM version here: http://www.dualsimandroidphones.com/samsung_galaxy_notes_2.html Regards |
