Should A Christian Hotelier Allow Unmarried Couples To Lodge In A Room? by charlsecy4(m): 12:15pm On Nov 25, 2012 |
No doubt, hotel is especially beneficial to visitors and travellers. I, myself, have experienced the usefulness of a hotel, when I arrived Owerri, on my first visit there, by 12:40am (midnight). It was a hotel that saved me that day from the killing cold and my inability to reach my final destination that night. But, what if you were a Christian owner of a hotel, or a receptionist; and a guy and a gal came to your hotel to take a room, from all indications, to have sex, what should you do? Should you deny them entry, or let them in, knowing fully well their intentions? If you allowed them in, could you be said to be a partaker in their iniquity? 1 Like |

should a pastor allow a prostitute into his church?. My point if the motive of the hotel is for relaxation and accomoddation of visitors, then the owner has not committed any sin. You will always have bad eggs and I dont think it's the ethics of that proffesion to ask the sex eligibility of their visitors 4 Likes |

No! Tell them its not of god. Then forcefully lay ur hands on them and dramatically shout out loud that the spirit of jazebel and samson should come out of them by fire and go back to the sender. If ur manager queries u do the same to him. Then take ur sack letter and go to sleep under the bridge. To think someone said u guys ask sensible questions. Mtchew! 8 Likes |

Please people help drop very logical advice here because I need it. Thinking of setting up a Hotel but one which won't accomodate the practice of Adultery and Fornication as well as a Nonalcoholic bar in it. How profitable that will be I don't know but I want to do it out of the fear of God rather than solely for profit making. 3 Likes |

Its not new. Churches set up hotels, I've lodged in one at Enugu-owned by Daughters of divine love at Emene. There, ppl don't lodge together except they are married. Infact, a guy cannot receive a female visitor in his room and vice versa. There is also a male wing and female wing. What I didn't check was how they certify d couple is married(whether by marriage cert). Its a very good place. Bt I doubt they set it up for profit. |

If you're setting up a hotel, then it must be cos you want to make profit. There are lots of church activities that can keep your help keep your hotel in biz. Plus, making it a really posh hotel will help keep out the kind of clients you're talking about. Someone wrote about pasting a notice about unmarried couples. I think that's a good idea. If an unmarried "couple" come seeking a room though, there's nothing you can do about it. You have to accommodate them since you can't ask for their marraige certificate or the pastor, imam, or government official that wed them. |

How does a hotelier determine the marital status of a couple if one person books a room and how do they also determine what the intents of the couple are? People give themselves unnecessary headaches What if two men or two women come to rent one room do I also take a DNA sample to determine that they are blood brothers or sisters and not homosexual partners How can I tell that a lodger did not just kill someone in another state and fled to my hotel? The what ifs are endless |

acidtalk: Please people help drop very logical advice here because I need it. @acidtalk: So, if I come in with my partner to your hotel, you'd ask for proof of marriage before letting me in? On top my own money? Na wa for people. @Topic: Just to be clear, as long as it's not illegal and the hotel accommodation was paid for, it's no-one's business what happens in the room. Olofofo peeps. Catholic-run guest houses do not allow opposite sex guests to stay in the same room or even adjacent rooms. Open a guest house under your religious umbrella, if you must; don't go poking your nose into people's lives. Hotels should possess discretion. |

Put bible inside your hotel rooms. Pray that the spirit of lust becomes instantly sabotaged as soon as its victims step into your establishment. If led, give distant brotherly hintish advise with WISDOM ( bcus its none of your business). Although, if youy make that sacrifice of turning back customers in same room who are not married, orputting them in 2 different rooms, for God, I am sure You will catch Gods attention and he will surely announce your establishment to the world one way or another. Yes, this sounds like a thing God would want one of his children to prove him with ![]() Seriously, someone should try this business model. |
