Hello guys, am seriously nurturing an idea of developing a new social media platform that will be a 'facebook-killer.' If not in the whole world, it will be in Nigeria and then Africa. Currently, Orkut, owned by Google is the leading social media network in India. So I want to create a great social media platform that will put facebook out of business in Nigeria and Africa. Or at least be a neck-to-neck competitor with fb.

Pls i want u therefore to suggest features you think are cool, but are currently lacking in facebook.
Features like:
1. Ability for one to add a background music to his page.
2. Having one's profile pictures displaying with Jquery blind effect and other sliders.
3. Ability to know when someone you sent message to have read ur message. The person may not reply, but u will know whether he has read it.

So, let's go. Because something is cooking.
