You should go to a Nordic country, like Sweden, Finland or Norway. I think they look beautiful during winter with the snow and everything. But you don't have much sun (at least that's what my Finnish friend told me). And they speak good English in those countries although it's not the official language. Otherwise come to Switzerland! We speak good English too and the country is very nice, although very expensive too!

Sweety: those Scandinavian countries are too cold for me. Were u born a Swiss?

LOL! At least you will experience a weather really different from Nigeria ;-)! Yes, I'm a Swiss citizen born in Switzerland ;-) Switzerland is also cold during winter, well it all depends were you go, but it's not as cold as Nordic countries.

I'll recommend Netherlands or Spain.English is widely spoken in Amsterdam and everywhere is within walking distance.Christmas in Amsterdam is a magical time,canals lit by small lights and the old streets looking medieval and festive.You can take a boat tour of the canals,you'll love it.There are also museums,great restaurants,nice bars and pubs you can visit.
Barcelona is also a good choice,not very cold and quite affordable.
