Some aggrieved ex-militants on Sunday faulted the second phase amnesty list of the Federal Government, alleging that it contained fictitious names.
The ex-militant, under the aegis of Second Phase Amnesty, said in Yenagoa that military officers attached to the Joint Task Force codenamded Operation Pulo Shield connived with persons to “smuggle” names into the list of the beneficiaries.
Leader of the group Commander Darikoro Suokoro, explained that the Federal Government had approved the inclusion of 1,666 ex-militants in the second phase amnesty list.
He said members of the group were trained at the amnesty camp in Obubra, Cross River State, but that some of them stopped receiving their allowances three months after the training.
He said that they would not block roads to protest the development but had concluded plans to return to the creeks.
