I never knew this was rice pilaf all these time I'd been cooking it.
I'd always refer to it as fresh tomato jollof rice. cheesy

Perfect Ghanaian Sunday afternoon lunch!

Waakye(half eaten cheesy) made with beans and sorghum leaves for that deep brownish colour, with shito, veggies, gari and cow knee (kotodwe). Couldn't get eggs in time to boil, but boiled eggs go with waakye well.
