So, Ojukwu did not hate the Northerners afterall or else he wouldn't have let his daughter live permanently in a Northern household. Well, thats good news and proves that deep down, Ojukwu was not a tribalist but a liberal minded person who eventually came to beleive in one Nigeria hence his contesting for the Presidency of Nigeria.

I also wonder what Ojukwu wanted to prove by exposing the lady and revealing a 50 year old secret. The Haman family have done very well by respecting Ojukwu's position and keeping his secret - secret even during the war. Couldn't he have given Tani ( the daughter) the Hotel and any other properties legally while he was alive?
