But i want to imagine that other states are also practicing just like Delta state but the gap is too much. One would even imagine that Lagos should be ahead of every state in these kinds of competitions but each time it's always Delta state.

Delta state has been producing legends in virtually all areas of Nigeria's sports since time immerorial.
The SS is far ahead of every other part of the country in sports.

The issue is not state of Origin but state of participation that has alway been the case as far as The NSF is concerned. Lagos has alway been the place where top athletes train. We know SE states have alway got good sprinters as far as state of Origin goes but they have often competed for other states.
