Ndume is standing trial for alleged terrorism-related offenses.
Yesterday, the court heard prosecution witness Aliyu Usman, a forensic examiner attached to the State Security Service (SSS), narrate how he carried out a complete operation of two mobile phones given to him by the chairman of the Special Investigation Panel (SIP), James Ene Izi, to establish if there was any contact in communication between the Nokia E7 and Nokia 2700.

He told the court that a case brief and a media forensic report was produced at the end of the process and forwarded to the SIP chairman.

Prosecuting counsel Thompson Olatigbe sought to tender the document as evidence but counsel to Ndume, Rickey Tarfa (SAN), objected on the basis that prosecution did not show any evidence of the witness’s qualification.
