Events in recent times has led me to the conclusion that investments in Nigerian stock exchange is not just a gamble, but an exclusive machine for insiders at the detriment of others.

So it's now that you know that CAPITAL PRESERVATION is key

When i was screaming that this year will mark the worst NSE calender year you thought it was a joke.

Well some of us has invested all our Naira in TBS since Dec.

We only come to NSE to gamble with part of the whooping 22.9% upfront interest we got grin grin grin

Pete, Pete, please take it easy. Actually some (about 60%) of what you are saying is right, but the problem I see is the ways through which you are putting it (like a prophecy of doom instead of advice). Anyways, remember this forum was meant to sensitize/advice fellow NBSITL on how to make the best use of the opportunities in the NSE. Have a nice day or is it night in the UAE.

Follow the above thread to get all the full gist about TREASURY BILLS.

TB is where you put your money you be sleeping and smiling unlike NSE where you will be thinking of the companies that will collapse and the ones that will survive grin grin grin

Yes TB isn't new but the YIELDS has never been this HIGH, that's been in the right place at the right time.

Above all there's a CHRONIC RECCESSION so chances of people losing their FUNDS in the nigeria business terrain are VERY HIGH.

And transcorp is the best to buy?

Personally I have made a hellish profit from TRANSCORP which I dont think i ever made on any other stock in NSE and may God bless Tony Elumelu real good for that.

I bought my ever first batch @53kobo in May 2012 via my stockbrokers advice and and my 2nd batch @N3:80k in April 2014 I sold all N4.50k same year before it later traded above N7.

So recouping it @80kobo is a good buy for me. PERIOD!

I think fxuser once posted some links and books if I'm not mistaken. You could go through his posts or ask him to help with resources for a few units of UCAP.

NSE Index
- 20dma stays below 50 dma , bearish
- RSi breaks below 30 into over sold region
- Last time RSI broke below 30 was 07 Nov , Index was at 26,887
- Stayed below 30 till the 01 Dec , hitting 25,362 before breaking into a short term Dec rally
- Expected further downside and possible test of recent low
- the bears like big caps , caution to those positioning for div rally et al !

UCAP
- in an upward channel

Oando
- bulls unable to hold SP above N5, bears pushed back ,
- SP is looking for support

TA teaches:
stocks in a down trend - u sell the bounce, cos they make lower lows
stock in a up trend - u buy the pull backs , cos they make higher highs

Dis:
WIP : discipline & patience

Zenith (recent experience)
- instead of waiting for a breakout above n16 (i.e a close above )
- i took some minor position in '' anticipation ''
- and then BANG ! FULL back hand SLAP rejection at n16 , im laughing at myself.
(- Note: your opinions cant move markets loll, dont take them too serz )

Wat next:
Sold down some of the position to a level that will not be distracting me
Expect further short term pull back , watch for support levels !
So we keep learning to be disciplined & patient with set ups , hope it helps someone here
