Good evening to all the gurus, regulars and newbies in the house.
Please is there a minimum amount of cash required to trade with CSL Stockbrokers online portal?
Are there other stock broking firms with online portals who don't have a minimum balance for trading using their platforms?

I'd appreciate if I could have the names of reliable brokerage firms (with online trading platform) and the cash requirements (if applicable

Mytradebook of Greenwich Trust Limited (gtlgroup) is a very good and reliable online trading portal. Minimum trading amount to start with is 10k and they have a live data exactly like that of Meritrade. They recently upgraded their portal and included some features like direct funding (using mastercard, verve etc.) and withdrawal from the portal as well as other features which makes the site easily accessible and user friendly

Someone asked question regarding mytradebook as well but I cant locate the post. I hope this answer your question partly. Also, you can just engage their customer rep online on live chat and they'll respond to all your enquiries, or still, send a mail to them.

I noticed that I've not seen much of their mention in this thread but I can tell you they've always been good and has really upgraded based on my experience with them. (**Pls note: this is purely based on my experience with them).

Morgan Capital too is very good only that they have customer relations issues. I hope they work on it soonest.

YELLOW CARD POINTS FOR ETERNA OIL/AFRIPRUD

With the NSE All Share index close to a major supply point. I look forward to taking profits/getting out with minimal losses, especially in those equities that are disappointing me. FBNH escaped the red card today, but still under close watch.

Today the 2 equities I am looking at are Afriprud and Eternal Oil. From my preferred EMAs/support points if the equities goes below these prices, I will sell my holdings without looking back. I have consider these points by also looking at my purchase prices, to ensure that I do not make a loss in view of the recent uptrend.

Learning technical analysis has been highly beneficial to me. It has reduced the era of big losses and not knowing what to do in consolidating markets.

Caution: Investing is a risky venture. This is just my opinion and I cannot be liable for any loss suffered as a result of following this recommendation All data used are assumed to be correct, but you may need to verify some of the figures independently.

Very funny how some stock brokers stay glued to this thread from 9am to 3pm every weekday without posting anything.

They will only post when they want to mop up a particular share by creating fear in the minds of the shareholders to sell.

Opportunity for you to offload now before it goes on full offer.

Could you please tone down on the way you post unfounded statements about fbnh if you have no facts! Afterall you no longer have a stake in it for now (so you say). Leave it for those who have it to worry about cause you are causing distractions if you dont know. What happened in the market was exact opposite of what you said.

Must you always say something even when you know its absolutely unnecessary?

Just exactly what you are doing. You can do nothing about it if thats the case, you know this because this is a public forum and your statement alters nothing. Also bear in mind that we have a lot of other people (newbies inclusive) that are benefitting from here as well.

Let me tell you that the brokers you mentioned used to carry out indepth research b4 they ventured into purchasing any stocks even if/when they come across any information.

Pls, like I said, theres no need saying something for sayings sake. Lets focus on our portfolios and what works for us in myjoy's voice.

Disclaimer: Im not a broker and not in any way related to one.

CAN FORTE OIL FIND SUPPORT AT THE NEXT LIQUIDITY POOL OR...
Recent strong sentiment in the market has helped FO enjoyed little rally, but news coming from the company however do not help matters as investors started to dump the stock again! Now, the price is close to the highlighted liquidity pool. If the stock can find support at this liquidity pool, then there is every likelihood of the rally to resume. If support cannot however be established at the highlighted liquidity pool, then the stock may be on its way down to test where its been trading for couple of months between 43 - 45

Wow! You just confirmed my thought about you since Ive been reading your vain, monotonous and emotion laden posts - that you are selfish and shallow minded. You lost out on an opportunity in a stock and has since then been trying hard with no single fact to make sure others did not benefit from it despite all facts presented by prinkez, ihedi and others. What a mean person you are!

Again, for your myopic brain to process, im not a broker. I just helped out someone in need of moderate broking firm. So convenient for you to tag my post with that!

B4 you could even think of browsing and locating this thread, I've been here. Its not everybody that will be running mouth like you do. Just keep your ranting to yourself and go get life.

Sometimes we are our own problem...someone asked a question another person willingly gave an answer, another person made a hasty conclusion without facts. That is the problem we have in this country people sit in their homes and offices, come up with assumptions and spill it out without any concrete evidence setting the country on fire.
