Bruv, At the end of any investment report, there is a 3page or more disclaimer by the Analyst. Try and always read that part. Nobody has a crystal ball, we all work with numbers, so if an analyst recommend a BUY, the numbers are there to show for it.. Numbers being Public Information readily available to anyone Zhirinovsky: |

You are right. I am just trying to let us know that if we use an information we got from someone and get burnt. It is better for us to blame ourselves for trusting too much and learn from it. davide470: 2 Likes |

zendi: I enjoy posts from this moniker because they make a lot of sense to me and on some occasions share his sentiments too. The previous post and especially the bolded in this post fall below the standards you are known for. Why? * You don't try to adjudicate on a matter you don't have sufficient information about. If you haven't been reading all posts (especially Loco's posts), how then do you know what the bone of contention is? It's not because he isn't telling when buying or selling. locodemy: I'm personally irritated by the deception employed by this guy and if you think it's about getting fingers burnt, I can only smile locodemy: You only have to go through his posts to understand the pattern of lies, deception, manipulation, guile, fakery and cunningness this guy uses. He terms this WISDOM. He has been allowed to blossom and flourish here because he is actually smoother than the 'Evans' guy and many that came after him. I am an engineer by training, so I am inclined to observe and follow patterns when I receive an unexpected signal. I don't dig through all posts No infinite time too Do we know when/what Fxuser and Bullbearmarket are buying and selling? Are we miffed? NO! No one announces what he/she is buying or selling except you have taken/exited your position. Lastly, I move the motion to expunge 'BNSITL' from NSEMPA The spirit behind that has long been exorcised from this group. It is eat or be eaten, play or be played at least, judging by comments of some members. To the gullible/susceptible ones who are welcomed here: Malu ti o niru, Olorun lo ba n lesinsin (A cow that doesn't have a tail, it is God that helps him drive away flies) 13 Likes |

I am not confrontational so I get upset with myself when I do. In fact, I'd rather just read posts and make occasional comments but No, not in this case. Everyone is quick to tackle Peterichy here but the dude is not here to mislead. My opinion is that he thinks himself to be infallible even though we have seen him fail in his predictions. Unfortunately, he doesn't admit it when he does. I'm comfortable leaving the #FFC with Peterichy than the 'Evans/Costain' gang. This thread is "Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick" @EmmanuelEwumi; I still recollect your posts on the Abayomi of Stockwatch ( a man I feel has a sincerity of purpose but forgot there will always be unknowns). I liken Myjoy to Abayomi. Do you get the point? I am sorry for all my rants. I feel so much relieved now. #Overandout 2 Likes |

...@Loco, you are A BIG DECEIT! You came to the forum and gave advice to members not to sell their holdings on FCMB due to a "reliable source" but you went behind to sell yours. That is terrible! You still have the gut to give lame excuses for your action by itself categorises you as untrustworthy fellow. I am totally disappointed in you! 18 Likes |

vivie01: The bolded is an insult on my person but I would let it go. Now let me make it clear that nobody comes here with the intention of deceiving anyone. Yes Sir Loco may have made a mistake by being too confident, but we are all human. Going all out for his head is not the best way to go. Are you saying nobody has benefited from some of his stock picks? What if FCMB result actually came out fantastic and hit N2 would you acknowledge his advice. Oga Emmanuel has also said it, if you don't want to lose money then invest in mutual funds, treasury bills, fixed deposit etc. I do most forms of investment like stock market, treasury bills and I trade forex. Till date I have not recovered from all my loss in forex due to advice and following experts/alerts, but do I go about blaming the person that gave the advice. No One thing is sure, in the investment world even warren buffet can advice you that he has invested inside a company after taking position, but won't tell you when he exits(or reduce position). News may come out months later after they have exited. Losses are good, they only make you a better investor. We would only make people contribute less here. Every discussion here good or bad, you need to make a profitable entry position. N/B - Go through the prospectus of most of the companies we bought their IPO/Right Issues in 2008 with projections that they would pay X amount of dividend. Some of them till date not a dime, some have even been delisted. That is the investment world. You can only come for Sir Loco's head if he asked you to give him your money to manage, he did not do that. So let it go. |

Manonamission: Abayomi charged 15k for his seminars and thousands of naira for his cd, dvd etc way back in 2006 to 2008. He started organising free seminars when he needed about N10 billion for his private placement. I am not supporting nor condemning locodemy, after all he did not charge a dime for his advice. I guess this will be a lesson for those who believe in short cuts and investment expo. 2 Likes |

@EVERYONE......When i was a newbie, i leaent something from coolcash, current price, angeloe, emma, manonamission, mercylicious etc.... But one thing has always work for me is PLAN YOUR TRADE AND TRADE YOUR PLAN.... We have to work on ourselves to independently make sound investment decisions without relying on anybody.....DONOT JUST MAKE MONEY AND CHOP ALONE.....INVEST SOME OF YOUR LOOTS IN GOOD INVESTMENT BOOKS AND SOFTWARES....am currently investing my time and fund in understanding technical analysis and charts (as am a trained scientist) so that i will not depend on whatever ogas in tecnical analysis (fxuser, bullbear mkt, etc) bring out..... Sir Locodemy.....you have destroyed your name as a DECEIVER in this forum for life...just in quest for material perishable gains....forgetting that GOOD NAME IS BETTER THAN MONEY....wish you safe flight to and fro RSA.....if i were you.....you ask God for forgiveness and APOLOGISE AND SHOW SERIOUS REMORSE TO YOUR FOLLOWERS.......innocent gullibles.... ...AS for me.....i made a decision to blame myself for any investment error i might make...so i do not follow anybody...and i dont invest in any stock i have not make personal due deligence... For newbiees.... companies results are coming out....spend time to study the results yourself and ask questions in this forum in areas you do not understand, just like i used to do......do not engage in PM to any guru in this faceless monikers forum..... Newbies can also invest in MMF, NTB, real estate....if you do not undestand stocks for now....am currently in all the investments .......as i have different objectives in them...many fora exist in this nairaland you can join and learn There is so much money to make in this forum if you can invest time in learning the acts of stock investment.....,we are making more money this year... 5 Likes |

In another news I learnt stock brokers/ portfolio mangers are not happy, with the way retail investors are directly investing in the market. They wanted retail investors to invest in their mutual funds. I know SEC can never approve it. |

Infinitisi: na true now,,,, A forum that suppose to help/encourage newbies,, pple comparing it with an investment firm. because investment firm lies so nothing wrong if Nigeria stock market alerts do the same. Agbalowomeri,BullBearMkt, fxuser, intendy, DeRuggedProf, coolcash1, pluto09, NuttyChoky and other respectable members of this forum that kept newbies on right track don't know what they are doing because they lack wisdom. 3 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Infinitisi(m): 11:29am On Jul 29, 2017 |
Going forward I think the lesson for all is we should try as much as possible not to present personal opinion as fact and also not to offer investment advise based on personal opinion (and if you must please state clearly it is a personal opinion) BullBearMkt, fxuser and some others post advice here regularly. You may not agree with them but you cannot deny that their post is based on some form of analysis whether fundamental or tecnical. That is the way it should be. Too many people here spew out numbers at an alarming Raye based on nothing but wishful thinking and empty air. No facts, no numbers, no analysis nothing. |
