Folks here should develop their own clear investment strategy and adjust as appropriate as the market unfolds. There is no substitute for this if you want to win big in this market. If your strategy looses you money, go and restrategize and dive right back in till you get it right. In any case, you can't wear that toga of investor or trader if you have not been burnt by the market. No pain, No gain. Just read up general materials on stock market investing, specific company news and give yourself and experimental period. The stockmarket is a cycle...if you dont know enough today, chill. you see this up and down cycle in stock prices, you can bet your life it will happen again. Thats what people that bought Fidelity at 80k, DF@N1, FBN@N3, DangSugar@N5.80 etc. knew and keyed in at the right time. Trust me, those guys don't even discuss their trades. A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE......Stop listening to elite equity analysts and fly by night charlatans....they don't know any better 15 Likes |

TLAX: ...I don't hype my dear. ...Never had, and never will !! ...It's never in my personality. ...I only try to state facts. ...but I do not need to convince u for I am quite ok with the over 28 persons who have so far reached me to say a big thank u for my tip on SKYE and CAVERTON. ...Their joy gave me fulfilment !! However if u've been following my post, then u would've recalled that I predicted the SKYE to hit N1.5 from 0.50k than take a quick break before a slow rise to near N2, depending on market dynamics. ...and so it naturally makes so much sense for me to reduce my holding given that a target has been met. ...I just had to inform the house because of the homidge I have for it, and also because I am aware that a good no of persons here may have bought from my tip off. ...even though I am under no obligation to do so. On CAVERTON, my prediction is still very much on course. ...For Mr TIME will soon add proof to that. DD always advised pls. 3 Likes 1 Share |

https://www.proshareng.com/news/People/Oando-Plc-Appoints-Alhaji-Bukar-Aji-as-a-Non-Executive-Director/38131 The appointment was rather fast. I guess Alhaji Mangal will now make an expedite request to withdraw his petition to SEC. How long will it take SEC to lift the suspension? By next week? |

salanda: Sanusi, Mangal can’t stop Oando’s forensic audit – Group Business – Punch Newspapers / Taiwo Ojoye / 2 hours ago The Oando Shareholders Solidarity Group has said the intervention of the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, in the face-off between the company and one of its aggrieved shareholders cannot stop a forensic audit planned by the Securities and Exchange Commission. The Coordinator, OSSG, Clement Ebitimi, said that while his group was not against the peace accord with Alhaji Dahiru Mangal brokered by Sanusi, the issue of the forensic audit bordered on financial mismanagement, insider dealings, abuse of corporate governance and infractions of the Investment and Securities Act, 2007. Ebitimi said in a statement, “For the avoidance of doubt, the forensic audit of Oando ordered by SEC is not about Alhaji Dahiru Mangal. The audit is about series of infractions of the Investment and Securities Act, 2007 uncovered in the company by a preliminary investigation ordered by SEC. “SEC’s preliminary findings established serious concern to the existence of corporate governance, gross abuse of corporate governance and series of manipulations and financial management in Oando Plc.” 1 Like |

yom2: You would have been more rational to have mentioned the person who made the very first comment that introduced what seems a digression to you, or better still to have completely avoided anyone's mention in your comment. Sometimes dishonesty in addressing real or perceived digression accelerates the digression more. |

safepaulooo: Mangal's petition was the reason for SEC's findings, the same findings that called for the audit. The man says he has withdrawn his petition and some hungry ossg are looking for who will oil their hands. Who will pay the 160 million naira forensic audit fee? SEC or OSSG? |

Chai, this small bear and we have deviated to Nigerian Politics. I didn't log in all day and was expecting to be behind on 15 pages only for me to meet less than 4, na there I know say people don wound small. Hehehehe, I have sharpened my knives and my fingers are on that button. I hope none of us here bought Transcorp at 2.7x, cos e no go funny oooo. NSE! That's why long term doesn't work for me. Hit profit and cash out pretty fast. On a lighter note, I believe bulls will be back this week. Thursday might be good for re-entry. I have also been very wrong in the past. No follow follow me. |

Agbalowomeri: People want the get off. As the herd rushed in, they want to rush out. Check out the movement of the wilderbeast in the Serengeti. Even when crocs dey river, they march ahead. This is the herd effect. A broker can't stop then from selling. It is when the critical volume had been reached and there is severe price depression, then more buyers come and Yiu see the herd waiting out for their prices to be attained or they rush back in with more funds. In this market, some short term funds will become long term because when door narrows, you have no choice but to relax and wait it out. |
