U have spoken well.
...I remember when I mentioned that UBA is a TOP PICK ahead of its peers in the tier 1 space.
Aside earnings drive, there are few factors that one should consider when making a choice in this line.

2 among these factors are KEY...
• 1) The issue with the new guideline on IFRS 9. ...which is expected to have some level of material impact on banks shareholders fund.
• 2) The issue with the recent CBN rule on maximum cap (thresholds) placed on banks dividend pay out ratio.

Both guidelines/rules actually kick stated from the 1st of Jan, this year. ...with impact expected to reflect in their AFS for 2018.
The 1st factor is why I prefer UBA @ current market price to its peers in the tier 1 space. That bank is better shielded from the impact of IFRS 9. ...before ZENITH, GTB, ACCESS and FIRST BANK.
With the 2nd factor, I'll also align more (on portfolio weighting) with UBA and ZENITH ahead of others.
Both factors should be considered before investing either for the short, mid or long term (dividend income in view)
So if I were to choose from among the 1st tier banks, I'll pick UBA, ZENITH, GTB, ACCESS and FIRSTBANK in that order (from left to right)
In the tier 2 space, I'll pick FIDELITY, ETI, WEMA, FCMB and STERLING based on preference from left to right in that order.

NOTE: NOT a recommendation. ...due diligence is still a necessary requisite !!

Trump afraid of firmly confronting Saudi over Khashoggi.
If he did, he would have sent oil above 150, not just losing the arms deals.
I now fully understand how this world works. I can never bet on anything.

Sometimes I wish I had the powers to shut down the market and ask everybody to go home and make up their minds and return after two weeks

The crowd is really a bunch of indecision..
Buy, no. Sell, no.Sit on the fence, no. Leave the market, no. The Crowd wants to do ALL of the above at the same time..

Godlylifeoneart:

I tried to ignore the cutix analysis by OGG.
definitely, a bargain hunter will see dz as an opportunity.
Using all the past and current Instruments of stock analysis, there is no way a company that is doing well will defy market forces and discounted its price by 50% in the face of most devastating bear in the history of NSE.
This cannot be equity floating
The most probable deceptive strategy by cutix is to offload n dump the ordinary shares on unsuspecting minority investors. This share might not witness the N2 mark in the next 5 years
Also, the daily, monthly and yearly volume of cutix trading has not been encouraging.
The market forces will still subject this share to the ongoing bear, meaning the stock has been broken beyond resistance and support at 1.85 in the name of script writing... I disagree
The politics here is that, the stock mightl witness 0,85 to 1.25 by February 2019.
Going the way of Capital oil and gas
The way of daar
The journey of sky
Just my view..
The company therefore
if not that this company is a coy that l know their beginning, in the 90's,l would have sold the day saw ur comment.
Is located inside my villa, not only that, the family pride it as an achievement which it is,l bet is not a banza coy,l know m saying,HV u gone to their factory?of u HV gone there u find it hard to at I'll of them, the stake holder nko?
The only problem l had with them is that they didn't allow me do my it in d first batch before l got another good place
U nearly made me sold, but l know this people too well

My dear is all a part of what makes for the DYNAMIC nature of the market.
...It's a peculiarly unique place to be if u can 'play ur way around it'
The KEY lies herein (from the 1st to the 3rd)...

"To find out if u can SUCCEED more in the stock market,1st find out if u have the RIGHT TOOLS that can navigate through the worst of times and which can stand the test of time.
...otherwise, go and 'buy' it."
~Sinclair

"If u want to KNOW if u can SUCCEED in the stock market, then 1st find out where u fall in between SMART, INTELLIGENT and DISCERNING.
...but remember that the market has been CONFIGURED to have and work with all 3 attribute as a collective."
~Sinclair

"In the stock market, SUCCESS is 1% what u have and 99% what u are.
...It's the product of what happens when u can continuously apply INSIGHT with running the race to EXCEL without let down."

With positive Q3 from banks... My fear for bargain hunters is that when they return for hunting they may be left to manage the bush rat (which is more stressful to kill)... or pay a premium for the Antelope in our kill.
