Let me check

Brokerage Commission - 7.3529%

Their minimum brokerage commission is #50. So, that will be rendered as a percentage of the value of transaction if your brokerage commission is less than that value.

To confirm, check your trades of #10,000 and above.

Definitely it's a good strategy if your cash is free

Free cash as how boss? I just think it makes sense to lock it in there with potential of capital appreciation than just putting it in Money market that yields around 13% APR with no capital appreciation besides the APR.

We are saying the same thing bro. With dividend yield of 13-15%, you are sure of minimum of 50% capital appreciation.
When that would happen is left for the gods grin

DAILY STOCK MARKET GUIDE FOR 3 JULY 2019

MSCI Nigeria on 02 July 2019 sold Dangote Sugar and FCMB.

Market is still risky let us still apply caution.

We need to apply additional criteria, that our proposed company we want to invest in is applying International Standard (this is not in terms of the degrees or Ph.Ds. acquired by the Management/Directors). I want to be blunt here, one of the criteria is that there must be a major Foreign shareholder (preferable a Colonial Power like likes European/South Africa/ American, forget Asians or Latin America, they were also Colonized) that is exercising some form of control on the organisation, such that the company reports to a Head Office Outside Nigeria.

Call the above Colonial mentality, but to protect your money and have rest of mind, we should not entrust our money to a management that will run away/share our money among themselves while leaving the shareholders poor.

My example is the year ended report (Dec 2018) for NPF Micro Finance bank, somebody embezzled money that threw the company to a loss positions (in a Police company, reporting to CBN, and I am sure EFCC is close to this company). Then the company want to do a right issue, but I will call it a wrong issue so that there will be bigger money for somebody to embezzle in the future Thank God for a forum like this, I am sure many of us will not partake in the proposed "wrong issue"

More details of the criteria will be for our subscribers in subsequent reports.

Caution: This is for information purpose only. Data used are assumed to be correct. However, you may want to verify the data from an appropriate source. Also, Institutions can afford to suffer big losses without going burst compared with an individual, you cannot follow them blindly (you need to at least have some knowledge/your own plan). Thanks for the info. That spreadsheet could be arranged to occupy smaller space though. It looks scattered.

Thanks for the observation. I applied local standard. But I have upgraded it.

Folks, stay on Dividends paying stocks. You will be relaxed getting dividends and still have your capital appreciation.

As price falls and it tends to give you a higher DY, keep buying if you have cash. This was same thing that played out around 2016 - 2017 and afterwards end of 2017 was the game changer. I see that repeating again.

Dividends are yielding more than Tbills. So use your tongue to count your teeth.

Your warning is spot on

those with colonial /$hithole mentality like I like to call it are more likely to ne reckless and thieves

I'm not saying that all from $hithole countries have $hithole mentality

But many many do.

including the many criminals we have managing publicly traded companies in NiggerArea.

once again
your warning is APT

It has always being like this from the time immemorial on Nigeria Stock Exchange. I am happy to be here at this time again.

The market must bottom up for appreciable progress in capital appreciation. It is a good time to go on rampage sowing into good stocks.

Don't be surprised seeing Zenith at N15 and GT at N22, Be greedy when others are fearful.

Fidelity and fcmb are 5&6.
I know they'll have a way of bridging the gap btw them....either fcmb move up to meet Fide or Fide move down to meet fcmb, one must happen anyhow. grin

It will take more 4YEARS for market to bottom out. Buhari isn't contesting again so he got nothing else to prove if not to keep accumulating more DEBTS for whoever will take over.

In no time the ECONOMY will BOMBERANG. the
STOCK market will bear the BRUNT while the MONEY MARKET will keep SMILING.

FG said we should be prepared for tougher days aheads Oyo govt already declared their state is technically bankrupt, Expect more states to follow suit.

It's now left for BARGAIN HUNTERS to jealously guard their funds and stop building CASTLES in the AIR.

I rest my case!
