Valueinvestor: One huge lesson av learnt about stock trading is that once a stock starts misrepresenting, just gerrout and be on the sideline.(it is not a time to keep averaging down). When you find yourself in a pit,its better to jump out of it rather than digging it further. 1 Like |

Valueinvestor: FO still has long way to go on bear land. The current owners want to effectively merge it with their company which will translate to heavy dilution at the expense of minority shareholders. 1 Like |

BrokerHaruna: I have a different opinion concerning that stock. It has done everything needed for a BULLISH move except that it hasn't formed a proper support. Once this last pre-condition is met, the stock would soar. |

RabbiDoracle: Bros, wetin else I for use? Na the only thing I get be that na. You people asked me not to post here so I didn't share. We (in the little Group) had our eyes on that stock since the week started. If not that it closed for that week in a way that invalidated the buy signal, all my people would have been fully positioned. |

maishai:Same with me oo, thank God say FO is just 1.6% of my stock portfolio. I am just curious why the stock should be digging for oil despite the high EPS. |

meshpips: Oga, stop saying what you know nothing about. You have gone to form group on what you know nothing about. The man you quoted above is a veteran stockbroker that doesn't only trade but understands finance. If you know FO very well, you should have know that the dynamics have forever changed for that stock. The owner that cares about price is gone and it is no longer on the MSCI. It will rally based on fundamentals and when the market is risk on. You are being swayed by the fact that it had traded at 300+ in 2015. Like I always say, you are delving into a field you know nothing about. The only thing you have done here is to cause confusion and what should baffle everyone is that you are just posting rubbish here without investing a dime. Put your money where your mouth is na. RabbiDoracle: The guy does not have any model, him just dey blab. A model that would recommend a buy on Access at 5.80 (12% discount) and a buy for GT at 19.42 (34% discount), what sort of model is that? Someone that doesn't own a stock is the most busiest on this thread. He has gone to form a kangaroo group where he is the only member. |

I once bought FO several years back at 198, and saw it declining following deteriorating fundamentals, instead of bailing out fast and staying on the sidelines,i was just hopeful that it will recover soon(as if i was one of the directors there/decision makers in the company o),i eventually came out with a huge loss. So when i saw TOTAL doing its own, i didnt even think about it twice, imagine where it is now(Although now on my watchlist for troubled stocks). Lessons learned 1.Never fall in love or sympathize with any stock except you have a controlling stake 2.The fact that a stock becomes so cheap does not mean it is a good buy except it is strongly supported by fundamentals, 4 Likes |

In NSE join stock that are performing well based on their quarterly report. Once they started messing up quickly leave them, because market is ready to punish them on their mess up, but whenever they started performing join back. Don't enter stock which is selling at #80 because of their 52 weeks high of #300, because you might finally landed at #10 with them. 2 Likes |

RabbiDoracle: Of course, it would always fail; na only coincidence go make am work I still don't understand why anyone would base stock trading on modelling In my field I do modelling and I know you can get 10 different models (for the same question) depending on assumptions Na that uncertainty I go come carry dey play with my money? |
