Good day my follow investors, Hmmmmm, the weird comments by the contributors in this thread amuse me, and these compelled me to drop this advice for those who cares. 1. Obviously, there is "blood sharing" on the floor of NSE, and some folks are ascribing this to uncertainty after 2015 election, some said foreign investors are exiting because of the constant falling in price of crude oil, other even said the economy is weak to support the market capitalization. Friend, all these reasons should not bother you at all,all these reasons should be institutional investors and fund managers headache and not yours, after all you are only investing disposable income in stock market.let first bank fall N3 somebody somewhere will be buying and if it rises to N50000 somebody will also be buying irrespective of what is happening, whether oil price fall to $2 per barrel or rise to $20000, stock market can not collapse. 2. I will advise you strongly not to use money meant for special projects in market anytime, rather you keep it . 3. If you have loose money buy now . 1 Like |

Born2berich:You cant go wrong! Watch out! I have a funny feeling that the dividend yield which the N0.70k represents, may increase further with time. I may be wrong as usual. |

The N0.70k is an interim div peoples. Did you calculate div yield for GTBank based on their N0.25k interim? Meanwhile, I increased my holding at N20.80k. Make I follow they buy in tranches 2 Likes |

Born2berich: Hello there. I really must commend you for your insightful posts here, they've been quite helpful. I'm a novice in bourse, I would really appreciate if you could answer to a few questions: •What broker would you recommend? I'm hoping to start small, say less than a N100k. From a site you dropped, the minimum deposit to have an account with most brokers tend to be on the high side for me. Also, the idea of having to send mails to brokers for purchase or sale strikes me as a bit tedious. Aren't there easier ways to go about it? •For starters, would you recommend I start with penny stocks (just to play it safe)? My questions may seem a bit stupid, no vex. I be novice. |
