Absolutely...
Your bolded statement cannot be over-emphasized.
As stated severally earlier, with UACN, you will have your share of the national cake in UPDC and UPDC REIT and not just that, even though the former is making losses at the moment, the later is still a profitable dividend paying equity.
AT the current price of N4.90, UPDC REIT's last dividend paid will give you a dividend yield of not less than 10%!
Real value indeed!

To add to that, UACNs current leverage stance(including but not limited to the recent $40M liquidity boost from imperial logistic) will only serve to strengthen their bottom line and grow top line.

Again, a reducing rate environment(real sector in view) can only push their earnings(projected EM) and increase the chance of a higher YoY distributable payout(DPS). ...2019 will most likely see a >0.65k it doled out for last yr.

As I said the other day; Looking @ the reits nominal makt value, the group's intrinsic value, and both entities present price to possible allotment ratio post unbundling(P/B and OS of both coys in view), its makes 'extraordinary sense' to ACCUMULATE UACN now !!

It's funny that the P/B and EM of the reits and updc(which are entities that one will get, holding uacn post unbundling) combines at a much higher premium to the present price of the coy !!
...a great opportunity of arbitrage.

UACN is a mid term hold.

No further comment !!

The problem is that some folks seem to be given so much undue attention to the proposed MTO of FORTE OIL.
What they forget is that WITH or WITHOUT the MTO, FO is a strong BUY !!
The current mkt price is a great route to VALUE !!

The proposed MTO(if and when it does materialize) will ONLY be an added bonus.(benefit)

It is well !!
pls don't loud it

Of course it should be. ...especially, because ur not in the said stock.
But when u eventually key in(which I know ur itching to do), it will become VALUE TRADING. ...then u'll begin to speak in a different tone. smiley wink cheesy

I think it will do u a lot of good to stop this 2 sided side to u, using different handles. ...it's not human.
I wouldn't like to put u on the expose.

Given ur person, u should've outgrown this sought of disposition by now.

Please house, what's your take on Caverton? I've been sitting on losses for some time now on that one. I got in at a high (2.95).

Unless there is a very urgent need for fund, I will hold with UNSHAKABLE confidence if I were u.
...I wouldn't panic at all !!

I also want to believe the said price u bought is exclusive of the 25k FY 2018 dividend payout. ...given that the stock traded @ that price before the ex-dividend date.
So ur actual EP should be approx N2.70 raking off the dividend.
But even if that's not the case, I will still HOLD.
That's just me though.

My advise: Pls follow ur instinct.

Awww...

Even at that price the dividend yield for 2018 wasn't that bad and it "may" be better in 2019. Keep and eye on it but i dont believe this is one of the stocks you should take a loss on just yet.

Afraid dey catch me whether some folks are wary of some contract cancellation somewhere and are selling off in advance.

I got a report on Monday that CAVERTON HELICOPTERS(a wholly owned arm of the caverton group) has been awarded a new 7 year SHELL ROTARY-WING CONTRACT(spdc & snepco)
The contract line, which was previously run by CAVERTON in partnership with its foreign tech affiliate, DANCOPTER(a Danish based offshore helicopter transportation company) for 5+2 yrs(BTW H1 2010 to H1 2018) plus an extended 1 yr(btw H2 2018 to H1 2019) will now be run by CAVERTON HELICOPTERS ALONE from H2 2019 to H2 2026, with an option for an added extension !!

Note that this fresh contractual line is entirely different from the 5 year CHEVRON contract which runs to 2023, the 3 year NPDC and AMNI contract which runs to 2021, the 5 year SHELL FIXED WING contract which runs to 2023(with an option for an additional 5 year extension) as well as the other lease and contractual deals with MILESTONE AVIATION and HONEYWELL AEROSPACE INC plus that with the THALES GROUP etc.

Reacting to this new contact line, the MD/CEO of caverton helicopters Capt. Josiah Choms was quoted as saying;

“Today marks another significant milestone in the history of our ground-breaking and game-changing company. By the gace of God, sheer determination and dint of hard work on the part of many people, I am delighted to announce that caverton is commencing the new shell rotary-wing contract(SPDC & SNEPCO) for another 5+2 yrs today.
As I look back, I am filled with gratitude and feel it is only appropriate to thank everyone who has contributed to our success on the shell contracts and in other contracts and ventures.
We need each other to see to our prosperity when we shall at last defeat every one of the challenges that confront us now and in the future”

I have also been reliably informed that the company’s MRO PROJECT, a world class aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul platform(which will offer a great channel to further drive revenue, expand margin and boost profitability) shall be commissioned and ready for use in a few months from now(H2, 2019)

Kudos to the management of CAVERTON GROUP !!
…more money/returns ‘to the bag’.
It is well.

Except their is a general market bullish condition, Caverton may likely touch 195k in the next two months. But, if you can wait till they release their Q4, you will recoup and probably make a little profit on your investment.

The lesson here is to avoid entering stocks on a high. Above is my candid opinion please.

Caverton got no business at anything less than 3 naira but thanks to NSE, stocks don’t and will never trade at their true value.. Kwasia!

There is nothing like true value
It is the value you get at any time point, all things being considered
As far as I am concerned, the true value of all stocks on NSE is now 20kobo including Nestle grin
