CBN can not sack the entire board.

They might go to court if the issue lingers on.

Are you a learner, what happened when CBN sacked the board of Intercontinental Bank, Union Bank, Afribank, Skye Bank, Bank PHB and Oceanic Bank.

Better to sack the board than to withdraw the operational license of the bank

Insider borrowing by Otudeko--> https://nairametrics.com/2021/04/29/cbn-issues-ultimatum-to-first-bank-of-nigeria-on-divesting-its-interest-in-honeywell-flour-mills/

He used his position to make sure FBN Capital invested in the highly inflated IPO of Honeywell Flour at N7.50k in 2008

Honey well is now is now less than N1.50k total dividend in 13 years is less than 50k.

Even me with my elementary knowledge of accounting, finance and Investment knew Honey Well was damn too expensive at that price, but the experts and analysts at FBN Capital could not advise their company not to invest.

Case of conflict of interest between a board member, his personal company and the bank

It wasn't a difficult one but yes, ur math mentor would be proud of that answer in bold.
Arranging the alphabets A-Z in series captures the Nos 1-26. (in ascending order)
1st and last latter of the 1st word is I and L which mirrors the Nos 9 and 12.
1st and last letter of the last word is B and S which mirrors Nos 2 and 19.
I+L=B+S= 21.

Good one mercy. Try and help show Sir Doc, Lion, Osita and others how to solve math riddles. wink cheesy grin
I got the answer right. This is great!
Thanks for the nice remark sir. wink
@Osita, Doc, Lion123 and other interested Nsempas, come and enrol for Maths riddles' solving class ooo. The charges is not much. grin

Shameful misconduct and financial recklessness from FBN. they destroyed FBNH profitability and are still enjoying huge Directors bonus and payout
