The codes and data will be nice to have. Thank you
ositadima1:

The analysis to determine if the proposed merger terms of 12 units of salt for every 11 units of sugar were reflected in actual market prices. Here are the steps I took:

**I set up a function to represent the proposed ratio of salt to sugar prices: salt = (11/12) x sugar. This allows me to calculate the expected salt price for any given sugar price based on the proposed terms.

**I then plotted the ratio (11/12 x sugar/salt - 1) x 100 over time. This normalizes the pricing ratio to 0 when the actual prices reflect the proposed terms.

**I added a red reference line at 0 on the chart, representing perfect accordance with the proposed 11:12 ratio.
The data shows that actual market prices started aligning with the proposed ratio within +/- 5% around the time the merger announcement was made. This suggests the market began pricing in the expected terms.

**In the second chart I extended the data points back to 2020. Interestingly, there appears to be another pricing relationship from 2020 to 2022-03 of roughly 12 units of salt for every 10 units of sugar. I'm not sure if that is just coincidence.

**I can provide the Python code and data to allow independent verification of my analysis. Please let me know if you would like me to share those.

Conclusion
: The market data suggests traders began pricing salt and sugar based on the proposed merger ratios around the deal announcement. cheesy

In all you do please don't invest in only two stocks no matter how promising they are... Learn percentage investment or better still investment by PERCENTAGE...

Have at least 10 fundamentally healthy stocks in your portfolio... E get why!!!

Many of you will remember this in years to come

With good "insider info" you can invest in oly one stock and make it big time.

I have been imagining if i had put all my investment in Transcorp when My average was 99kobo, I for done retire by now.

Same here... even chams was 30+k at a point.. but you cant say with 100% certainty how things will turn out so makes sense to spread your risks... I'm still thinking of getting one good low priced stock with sound fundamentals and invest heavily... invest only what you are prepared to lose... not house rent.. not medical expenses... not school fees

It is very surprising how data can reveal patterns that validate logical assumptions.

Below is a screenshot showing the percent deviation from the proposed 12 Nascon to 11 DangSugar ratio. You can see how the market has maintained this deviation between +5% and -5% starting in late August, coinciding with the announcement date of August 30th.

Even though the market does not fully agree on the price given its oscillation, it has maintained proportionality close to the announced ratio.

As of yesterday, we have a +4% deviation in favor of Nascon. I can assure you that one of two things will happen next week.

Either Nascon will fall below 60 or DangSugar will break its highest level of 70.

Edited: From the chart, I also noticed that the two stocks were already moving to align before the announcement date. Is this some form of inside trading? Have some people gotten the news before others? grin grin

Which model did you use in making the prediction

I am planning to make TIP a 100% portfolio with a target of #3.50 short term and a target of #10 long term.I don't need insider info to achieve it.

1.A growth stock with good prospects.

2.890m O/s with 190m(20%) free float

3.A very defensive stock.

4.Possibility of dividend in future.

5.Possibility of bonus in future.

Correct provided one has diligently done some deep findings. However, the converse is also true. The loss is always catastrophic when ''unhammered''.

Mining stocks are always mad when they move. They give a profit of 2 years under 1 month.Ask Multiverse. When they respond, take your loot to another comfortable one.

My target is to be a substantial holder in the Initiates company which can lead to an appointment or contract as the case may be.

The following was a chat between me and 2 fellows who subscribed to my investment outline/guide late last night.
Had to put this out there so those who might have similar question or thoughts and wish to get some clarification can be guided accordingly.

N:.B: Post was edited to exclude the actual names of the asset as used in the illustration.

Hi Sinclair,
Thanks a lot for the well detailed outline and for all you do and continue to do to help folks like us beat the financial market.
I however noticed that out of the, I believe 18 company's in the outline, about 3--4 are currently trading above the prices you analyzed and recommended. Mind explaining why?
Though am also very content with the over 14 others still within buying range.
Thank you once again!

Dear OGG,
I have gone through the content and I must say it is overwhelming! While some have moved past your TEP, a lot of value still remains in others. I truly appreciate. 🙏
Thanks for the great details and bonuses.

Me;
Yes it's true that a few of the asset names have gone past their target entry prices (TEPs) but that's because they are not entirely fresh recommendations.
...some were initially recommended at lower prices and those who were privileged to subscribe for the outline/guide much earlier got in at those bargain prices.

To illustrate;

At least 2 of the asset in the have delivered over triple digit % gain from when I launched the outline/guide in late Nov, 2023.
Those who subscribed earlier and bought then must have gotten over 100% ROI on both stocks.

Again, there are other asset names that were previously recommended in my last outline before this one, but still part this one even when they've delivered astronomical returns. Infact 2 of the said coys have delivered a whooping 185 and 440% ROIs for those who bought at the average peg of the range in the previous outline.

And if you're probably wondering why I still included a few of them after they've already delivered great gains, it's because of their technical and fundamental stance. Fundamentally, these select assets are broadly healthy with many pockets of positive prospect (and for some, BU/TD catalyst) that can reproduce further price rise in view of their FVEs.

But based on technicals, price can retrace to the range you now have in your outline before another possible price uptrend, hence, the need for a recommendation at psychological SLs and below their CMPs.
This is a capital protection mechanism that ensures you don't overpay for an asset that has rallied and is already overbought.

For these few set of stocks, it's best to patiently wait for their prices to "come to you and not chase after them."
And if they don't, you can always buy from the many other asset names that are still trading within great entry zones and which provides you with a much better margin of safety after entry and positions you for a great ROI post price appreciation.

It is for this reason that some who subscribed for the outline/guide won't have exactly the same set of asset and/or the same exact prices. ...especially those who ordered much later.
I have to regularly do an in-depth but proficient review to certify that those who subscribe much later, also get as much VALUE as those who ordered earlier.

The outline has all the guidance you need. ...it's an all-touching outline that tells you where you need to put your money for a possible high ROI and gives you a proficient and efficient guide to succeed in it.

Just follow the instructions therein and you should make worthy returns.
