Abeg who is listening to this Wema Bank AGM. Abi, am I the only one yet to be allocated shares after the last right issue.
They have not issued to anyone. If you analyse their financials the EPS is still based on their former shareholding. They play us wayo.

How sure are you of this statement? I usually retain one unit of a company's shares whenever I want to maintain my dividend mandate with the registrar.
The statement is correct, even if you sold all now and come back later to buy your div.mandate is already keyed to the system...no worries.

For anything that has to do with bonuses or sometimes right issue on NGX, you need a lot of patience. It's not as easy or straightforward as it's written on paper or being said.
Too many protocols behind the scene before the new shares will reflect on investors' accounts. The only thing is just to be sure you qualify once confirmed, relax the shares will show up on your cscs when you least expected. This is from experience.

A quick glance of the bank's 5 year financial summary tells one all they need to know about whether they're fundamentally sound or not wink.. plus for there to be an exit by one party, there's a corresponding accumulation by another.. 6 billion naira worth of trades in a week on one stock tells a lot, don't you think so? Or 6 billion na money wey person dey use monkey hunt?

We shouldn't forget that Acess Financial Corporation PLC sold their shares in Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers Limited to fully acquired ARM Pensions Limited (now Access Pensions Limited). ARM Pensions Limited was the second largest Pension Fund Administrator in that non-banking, financial sector. If its shares were on offer without these offers being snapped up, it would be a cause for concern.

Unless you desperately need the money just hold the shares. It seems like some people are making sure the price doesn't fall. Those same people will push the price up when they are ready.

Mankind2024:

Back to the falling knife phenomenon.
IB is likely to test sub N3.50 or less, by December 2024. if there is no turnaround after the current RI, then, potentially heading for DELISTMENT by 2028 or thereafter. The current RI is the 2nd in less than 5 years.
The RI of 2019 Nov/December was a fantastic failure.
International Breweries raised N164.39 billion through a rights issue of 18.266 billion ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N9 per share. The said rights issue was pre-allotted on the basis of 17 new ordinary shares of 50 kobo each for every eight ordinary shares of 50 kobo each held as at the close of business on November 6, 2019.
The Management claimed it was fully subscribed.
To me, I'm of the opinion that some selfish people are in to acquire this Breweries at a give away price of Sub N1. A hidden agenda cannot be ruled out, anything is possible in Naija.

NB still falling, may likely stop falling and breach the N30 by year ending, may recover fully from the phenomenon, earlier than predicted.

Champion B may likely test sub N2 by year ending, potential delistment vs buy out. New owner vs conflicting state interest.

Guiness is difficult to call, might delist if there is no turnaround, the management of the company is still in denial. It was rumoured in mid 2023 that the company was planning to exit the Nigerian Market. Time will surely tell if there is any incubating exit plan on their agenda.

The falling 🔪 knives of the Breweries will surely present an opportunity for the most patient investors, maybe from 2030, if there is a turnaround, otherwise the Breweries would suffer the fate of what befell the construction industries in the 90s.

Nigeria Breweries NB, Buy more, Hold on, or Sell Off?
What is the Target Price?
