Yeah. A Corporate Action/Report from the entity supersedes any third-party information... undecided

destruction is more than build

price movement after gaining 10% from 9.50 was 10.45

when price drop by 10% from 10.45, you will land at 9.40

This stock might shed 20% as a punishment.

They could be reselling the crude they already bought instead of refining for any of the following reasons
* Problem with the refinery. Some units may not be working properly ?
* Cutting losses as the cost of some of their key refined products (Petrol, Diesel or whatever) exceed current market prices.
* Playing out a strategy. (what could this play be about?)
*
I think they have debunked d news

He has denied this. Dont know who to believe

The multi-billion dollars Dangote Refinery is not selling-off the crude oil it has received at the plant, and remains on course to produce petrol this August as previously scheduled, a senior executive at the group told THEWILL Friday night, in reaction to a news agency report which claimed the refinery is looking for buyers for its crude stock.

The executive, who reacted anonymously, told THEWILL that the news agency report was the handiwork of โ€œSaboteurs targeting our 650,000 refinery. It is rubbish and this is obviously coming from the same people who would rather continue importing petrol from their refinery in Malta.โ€

The source further said a formal statement will be released by group to debunk the report.

He has debunked it officially

Seems these guys are just getting too lazy with everything these days.....

See the case of UCAP in the attached, NGX puts "Nil" in proposed dividend whereas Corporate Action says otherwise.
The bonus issue of VFD was initially omitted before it was later confirmed and corporate Action indicates it.

So where's the mistake coming from this time around?
From NGX or from AFRIPRUD?
Think we'll get clearer picture by tomorrow or the next. sad

Exactly my thought when I saw it, as we are on both!
Unfortunately like everything in naija there will never be any apologies for that serious mistake!!
Hence a bigger one will be made next time and we will keep kicking the can down the road cool

I think it's a normal evolution of the market. Eventually all companies will pay interim dividends. You know the optimal as in advanced markets is payment of dividend quarterly.
