Dollar yielding rental income investment.

I like real estate and the business of it….. However, I am wary of developers selling properties to persons who don’t have residency in the countries where this properties are domiciled. Sometimes, legal issues may arise that will never favour such buyers.
Dubai, England comes to mind

If you are in Nigeria, earning Naira and you have $250,000 do you think this is the best investment for you.

I have tried all manner of ways to open this site on my safari without luck. What do I need to do to access the site. The handset is my only means of accessing the web.

Thanks for pointing this out! I noticed from the stats that 22 iOS users were active yesterday, so this might be an isolated case. However, if anyone else on this esteemed platform is experiencing issues with Safari or iOS, please let me know so we can address this together. Your feedback is much appreciated!

Please which one is better for long term....TRANSCORP or NAHCO, I need some advice

Team Transcorp all the way. We will start seeing real value In Transcorp when Tony decides to start unbundling all the Transcorp mini assets, and list them on the stock exchange in a similar fashion as Transpower, Transhotel. Or when all these assets start contributing significant cash flow to Transcorp bottom line.

In addition to the listing valuation power of Transpower, Transhotel… other notable invisible Transcorp assets includes; Afam Power (~2000 mw power plant), Teragro assets (Agriculture), Transcorp Oil blocs (Energy) and others. These invisible assets when unbundled, will be worth Trillions in valuations.

The webinar is to let you know how you can access funds to buy the USA property. You don't have to have all the $250,000. It's a free seminar hosted by the property owners, the US mortgage provider and a US realtor. I already spoke about the reputation of the property owners/developers. A lawyer who was called to the Nigerian bar in 1992 and is currently practising as well in the US.... additionally the rental income is attractive and better than what you get in Nigeria.. and it's in stable dollar currency. I think it's wise to diversify investment. Real estate is stable.. the system also doesn't let tenants misbehave over there..
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Raider76: 10:17am On Jan 07
A complete reversal of yesterday's full bid situation in AIICO. Buyers of penny stocks beware.

The owner of the company that developed the property is an attorney in US and Nigeria.. also does real estate.. the webinar is free.. they'll take you through the process.. no issues.. also will tell you how to access funds to buy..

Gamblers, head up: Buy Trans-Nationwide Express Plc, if you want to. Might just be the next Juli Plc, or Eunisell Plc, loading...

Nice one. Just bought a little.

I gave early morning signal.
It's just a little pullback.
Insurance will still be active till the recapitalization announcement from the regulators.
Even at pullback I will not advice for a panic sell except you want to buy chams or Japaul or you are in need of money for critical issues.

But AIICO is still trying to hold up to the massive sale. Those that are buying must have their reason. For me I just reduced my stake by 70% and then watch as things unfold.

Even at that a 20% down payment at $50,000 is advisable. Residential real estate is not a passive income as such.

Better to buy REIT that will pay dollars to the investor.

I think the guys doing this seminar should target people earning dollars.

My opinion though

It works for both Nigerian based and diasporans. That's the essence of the webinar. You don't know the rental income achievable.. the units are already fully tenanted so rent also goes into paying the loan.. you need to attend the webinar for a full picture... its free.. no strings attached...

I sell real estate in upscale areas of Lagos like ikoyi etc and i know this is good investment.

GTCO Public Offer was undersubscribed. They will have to find other means to raise money. I think they needed N300bn to meet up with the CBN's target

"GTCO yesterday announced receipt of regulatory approval for a total of N209.41 billion, representing 52.3 per cent of the total offer size"
