Vc Of Niger Delta University Withdraws Admission Of Non-indigenes by mylifeisagift(m): 6:23pm On Dec 13, 2012 |
The vice chancellor of Niger Delta University has withdrawn the admission of non-indigenes and has seeded these spaces to indigenes whom where previously not admitted. The decision has been reported to stem from pressure from the state government of Bayelsa state. Professor Ogoni, who hails from the state is the acting VC and in a bid to solidify his position as the VC has authorized the withdrawal of the admission of these students. Students who haven't done their verification even after paying the acceptance fee which the university accepted where informed their admission has been remitted.. This is totally unacceptable.. How can students be offered admission and then after all the joy be informed it has been withdrawn. This is injustice, unruly ethnicity and solidifies the pact for a dividing Nigeria.. Let's asy no to this |
