Road Block Again? by budssmurf: 7:10pm On Dec 14, 2012 |
So am on my way back from work and on trying to connect third mainland from Awolowo,we noticed the road was blocked and on asking, they say its the president. I remember being stuck in a similar kind of block back in the year 2000 cos of the president. Am sure this issue must have been flogged a lot of times but am pissed right now. Why would the president and his crew of 'whatever kind of people they are' choose the evening of a working day when the people (who truly own all the powers he thinks he has) are on their way back from work. Don't get me wrong my anger is 'why block the road and if at all why such terrible timing? Am really wondering what you guys think of this. |

There should always be alternative to whatever someone is planning. Example, helicopter can be utilised to drop the president from airport directly to the final destination without stressing the populace on that Lagos-Ibadan express road. Honestly, I pity my fellow Nigerians. I still believe as Nigerians that we can do better, if the leader can listen to the follower for necessary feedback and adjustment. |

Okwa ana agwo ibi, ona eto afo? (As you are curing a patient of impotency, why would he be developing protruded stomach?). That is what I think of president Jonathan. These days pregnant women have their babies in vehicles oin the traffic created by insensitive leaders. The whole Lagos is on stand still now. God will judge. |

And to think that there is a helipad on ozumba mbadiwe. And it just seems to be a symbol of power to be able to leave thousands stranded and angry.smh |
