Commercial motorbike riders engage in fresh protest in Lagos today in renewed effort to overturn the Lagos traffic law banning motorcyclist from some 475 major roads in the metropolis.

Its been banned in PH, Calabar, Owerri, Asaba, Warri, Akwa-Ibom, Abuja etc. What's all this noise for...

This is not an issue of Politics, its about doing what's best for the country's number 1 City.

LOL at these people fighting tooth and nail to remain backward. Motorbikes as taxis does not project progress so Fashola is right to restrict now and eventually remove them totally from Lagos. They shouldn't have been introduced to begin with.

To begin with, it was never introduced, the initiative was a product of the society and politicians later deplored it as a campaign strategy when seeking political post. I know a former governor of one of the SW States who shared okada and helmet during his campaign prior to the 2003 election.
