My first major project as a web designer.

Using php, mysql, html, css, jquery and NotePad++

PC and Mobile Friendly. Less images and JavaScript on mobile.

Since this is a forum, google for and check out at least 50 other fora, making notes of what you like and don't like. From there you can come up with stuff that will make your own site unique.
