With reference to the concept and meaning of love in comparison with what is actually practiced, i would say dat love is imaginary rather than real. Love, they say, is unconditional but i know dat what is actually practised is conditional and directly responds to varying motivational elements or factors depending on d way of life of the persons involved. For instance, in Nigeria, money is d motivational tool dat triggers 'love', except in very rare cases where either of, or both of the persons involved are immature, inexposed, barbaric or naive. Even in such an instance, things begin to change over time. Lets not deceive ourselves, for as long as we want to be abreast of societal trends, we must live this way - no money, no love. This is a societal demand which we must supply. Girls know what i mean. It is worthy to note dat love without money can be for a while but would never stand the test of timd.

Marriage on d other hand is slightly different from dating as regards d issue of love. The institution of marriage, compatibility, understanding, and tolerance are some of the factors responsible for long term unions. Compare d rate of divorce now and then when our parents lived in a less corrupt society devoid of money influenced relationships. Obviously, d difference is immeasurable. The bottom line is dat, love, as it is painted doesnt really exist.
