Does it matter if I get my MA (masters) at a Nigerian State Uni as oppsoed to a Federal Uni. Not every1 can afford to study abroad. |

^^^^ a top-tier federal university is better, in order to avoid being discriminated against in the nearest future. |

op if & only if lecturing is ur career line then choice of MA uni may be a relative considerable factor & more over MA is not even the basic req for the lecturing itself unless u wona start off from other tertairy edu provider level. if it is other profession and U are just for the entry level only, MA is not the basic entry qualificatn req but BSc. if U are already 'IN' then, I dont think they should be concern abt whc uni U will obtain ur MA unless U want to switch industry or career. Whichever uni it may be, I think ppl still have opportunity to show off 'SOMETHING' during the interview & selection stage. |

Some state schools are better than some federal universities and vice-versa. The brochures of the schools you wanna compare with may give you a better idea. |

I strongly advise you to go to a federal university. I have observed from various recruitment processes that employers usually have a bias for federal university grads (or is it that federal university graduates perform better?). Whichever, a federal university is definitely a better option, preferably but not necessarily a top tier federal university. |
