Hmmm! I refused to answer questions on this thread. But, i'll answer this. Last year, 58 composite was the least admitted on merit for Economics. But 60% of candidates who wrote for Last year's Post UTME scored 200 and above in UTME. This year, statistics shows that 4718 of candidates who wrote the UTME exam and chose FUNAAB as 1st choice scored 200 and above. That was less than 17% of 28000 which report claimed wrote the Post UTME.

So, can you draw your assumption based on the fact stated above?

One thing is clear, the Cutoff marks will be brought down this year. But i can't say exactly what it would be. All i can say is that you have a chance of being admitted. Thanks#

Schools like OAU, UNN have some competitive courses reduced by 40 and above. On a scale of 400.

Question: Can it fetch you admission at all; Yes, it can. Courses like Entrepreneurship, Banking and Finance may not cut above 50 this year.


I should blame Funaab for being discreet about their admission. Unlike other schools would do by Releasing performance statistics and Departmental cutoffs. But the reverse is the case here.

48.5 can't get you Bus Admin on MERIT this year. But anything can happen you know.

Go for Yabatech acceptance fee. However, you stand a chance of being admitted in Funaab too.
