You need to first understand the difference between a 32 bit system and 64 bit system and then you can determine if you should use it. The main difference between 32-bit processors and 64-bit processors is the speed they operate. 64-bit processors can come in dual core, quad core, and six core versions for home computing (with eight core versions coming soon) "more info from google ". My opinion would be that if you are not having any issues with 32-bit, you do not need to look for 64-bit. If you are a beginner, 32 bit should be more than enough for you.

It can be anything from HTML, Javascript to C++. What they told you to install are for putting your code on an online repository and code editing.
